ohsodevine: collegehumor: What the Hell is a Grip! Ah, the great mystery of life solved. I remember when I first got into film and I ALWAYS asked that question… “What the hell is a grip? What’s a best boy?” Then I always mixed them up, no idea what they were. “One’s lights? Right? Or What? Wait… WHO THE HELL ARE THEY?” Literally everyday.  Now I feel knowledged that after 3 years of film school I can finally answer that question and remember. That took goddamn forever. This is awesome. Because its true.
